And further - To monitor the issues that interest and concern members of the Black Canadian community and to play a leading role in recommending solutions to the community and to the government.

How you can help: You can work with OBVC as an active volunteer, a member of one of the many committees or assist in specific areas based on your interest and time schedule. Regardless of how you choose to assist (your time or financially), your contribution will ensure that the OBVC objectives as outlined in this website are realized; and that the programs and services that OBVC provides for the community remains relevant.
