Mandate of Operation Black and Vote Canada:

To educate, motivate, promote and support Black Canadians to participate in Canada’s governments, agencies, boards, commissions, civil service and in Canada’s political process at all levels.

And further-

To monitor issues that interests and concerns members of the Black Canadian community and to play a leading role in recommending solutions to the community and to the government.
